What did you wake up to this morning?

We were absolutely freaking out! We just don't see snow this much in South Alabama! But when we do it is usually this time of year! Last year it was Jan. 19th. And when I was in 6th grade we had the "Blizzard of '92" in March. (6in hehe) The craziest part is that it has been in the 70's and high 60's up until Friday! The only weather you can plan for in AL is that it will be miserably hot in late June and August! Of coarse all the snow has already melted here so I actually think that makes our snows perfect. They are there just long enough to play and then it goes away before it makes life miserable. I truly am a summer girl! I love sun dresses and flip flops (mostly because they are quick and easy! )
But for today this was so beautiful! It just so happened to be Sunday morning so Savannah only got to play in it for a little while before church. The heaviest part came down during church and the picture below was taken while Michael and Savannah were at church. I kept the baby home cause she had a couple fevers last week and was coughing last night.

This next picture was actually taken this morning when the snow wasn't quite sticking yet. I love rooftops covered in snow!

Isn't it gawgeous!

Wakee wakee; eggs and bacee!! Com'on Bunny. It's snowing!!

Dad made breakfast so he has his apron on. haha!

Trying to get these girls going was not easy! It really should have snowed on Saturday!
Sara Faith loves looking out the window and Bunny is ready to run out the door and play!!
Does this little girl look ready or what??
Poor Sara Faith can only watch from the window
:(

She didn't last too long. It was cooooold!

And on a cold snowy day, some drop dumplins sounded sooo good! My husband has never really like the dumplins so we use bisquik!

Once again. The topper of a cold day:)
Now when is summer coming?? In two weeks Savannah has a birthday party at the park and we need it to be warm. In Alabama it is possible!!!
